I have 2 pairs of these shorts
I use these shorts for both surfing and paddling and LOVE them. Very durable, dry quickly, look good - what more could you ask? I especially like that they have a plastic snap at the fly instead of velcro. They do run a size small. I am very slim (but not built like a boy), normally wear a size 4 in Patagonia and take a 6 in these. They are a bit loose on my waist but it gives me freedom of motion. The size 4 was fine in the waist, but way too tight across even my bony hips and butt.

Well worth it!
I highly recommend the wavefarer boardshorts. They are light and comfortable, and don't rub you wrong. I like that they are a shorter style, they fit perfect on a shorter girl with strong thighs.

these fit great. they run a little small so I ordered a size up. they are not skimpy like other board shorts i have had. love altrec and patagonia!
