Raglan sleeves and offset side seams won't chafe beneath pack straps; overlock seams throughout provide a clean aesthetic. Patagonia slow-washes their merino for next-to-skin softness. love Patagonia wool
These shirts are the best! They are great in a variety of conditions and don't retain the odor like other underlayers. The fabric has a pointelle pattern that isn't apparent on the photos, which gives it a nice look.

Love the Wool
This is my 3rd wool 2 long sleeve. It is cut a little different than my other 2 with a bit of a lower neck line. The cuff of the sleeve is different, as well. It seems to run a little larger.

Love it.
I bought this to wear as a base layer and it works very well in that capacity. It's very lightweight, warm and not at all itchy. I've even worn it out with jeans.
