A die cut EVA sockliner, heel foam and textile liner cradles the foot, while an all-round leather wrap and toe bumper protects from abrasion and bumps. The molded EVA midsole provides premium cushion, as the Contagrip outsole delivers great traction on rough terrain. The Exit Aero is optimized in a women's specific fit.

Nicely padded lightweight Salomon hiking shoe from Altrec
Sold by Altrec, the Exit Aero Hiking Shoe by Salomon provides deep cushioning and well-designed lacing features. I've enjoyed the Salomon trail running shoe for my hiking needs, and this hiking shoe is equally marvelous on the hiking trail, and versatile and lightweight enough for general walking out and about. I'm very impressed with Altrec's competitive pricing, immediate service and huge selection of all the Salomon products for men and women.

Great Lightweight Shoe at a Great Price!
I'd been looking everywhere online for this shoe and no one had my size or color except for Altrec- and it was a full $30 cheaper than listed elsewhere. Once I placed my order, I received free shipping and the product arrived within a week. I just tried the shoes on today and they fit perfectly with a lot of toe room at the front. They're lightweight and breathe and offer great support- just what I need for short day hikes in Alaska this June! I'd definitely recommend this shoe to others and am happy with Altrec's service and timeliness.
