Great Creeking Shoe
This is a very high quality shoes with some great features for navigating on wet and slippery rocks. The sticky rubbber sole really grip wet rocks. The only down fall is this shoe is to big to fit into my playboat, but that wasn't surprising.

A Great Steep Creeking Shoe!
This shoe is awesome. I bought this shoe so that I could wear neoprene socks while kayaking during the winter. I took them out for a low water run of the Watauga river last week and they really came in handy while portaging Stateline Falls due to the low water. Carrying a 50lbs plus creek boat with all your gear across a wet rocky portage in 50 degree weather isn't that most fun thing to do, but with these shoes the portage was a lot easier due to their durability and warmth. Definitely a must have if you're running class IV & V whitewater.

Update
The sole on the right shoe was starting to come off after a little more than two weeks of wear - it kind of looks like a loose tank tread. I wouldn't say I wore them in extreme conditions just in the river while fishing. Overall the shoe is still impressive. I hope that I just got a bad one (not the fault of Altrec). Ryan and Dave at Altrec were very helpful in prepping my return label. I've decided to go with these again and hopefully they won't give out. The hassle free return made me confident to buy from Altrec again.
