Awesome pack!
Just bought this bag the beginning of this month and am completely in love. The 75L fits just about everything for a solid 6-8 day trip. Daisy Chains are conviently placed and the pull-out hydration pack makes for great use on smaller day hikes.

The Best Backpack!
This pack hauls a load better than any pack I have used yet. It's so much more versitle than my Osprey. The North Face hit a Home Run with this pack, can't figure out why they have discontinued it. I guess it's like everything but Levi's, There's always a New model next year. The adjustability in the back and waist are awesome. The pack itself is so well thought out, I wouldn't change a thing. Just sorry I didn't buy one earlier. The price was certainly right at ALTREC; most places still want the Retail of $409.00. Guess that's a testament to how great this pack really is, but you can always trust your friends at Altrec. Thanks. Buy one before they're all gone!

Awesome Backpack!
I've purchased two of these backpacks, one for each of my son's. One son has a back problem and this is by far the most comfortable backpack he has experienced. The way the weight is distributed and the E-VAP back panel are exceptional features. It's the perfect backpack for weekends or multiple day adventures. North Face has out done themselves with this one!

The North Face has reengineered its pack line around a universal measurement chart. These measurements, linked closely to the sizing of The North Face apparel, allow for easy fitting and sizing of packs. Detailed instructions on how to fit our packs are included with each pack.
To size a pack, match your measurements with the sizes listed above. Torso length is measured from the 7th vertebra (C7) to the lumbar vertebra (L5). C7 is the prominent vertebra at the base of the neck and is most apparent when the head is forward and looking down. L5 is the first vertebra above the pelvic bone. It usually coincides with the bottom edge of a waistband or belt. Waist circumference is measured as for pants and chest circumference can be measured as for clothing, just below the underarm.
