The North Face Men's Scythe Jacket
Great as a middle layer or as outerwear on calm, cold days, The North Face Scythe Jacket for men is an excellent choice for camping, hiking, climbing and mountaineering. The Polartec Thermal Pro Sherpa Fleece insulation is exceptionally lightweight and easy to pack. The only caveat to this plush fleece is that you'll need to verify that you have the space to accommodate this jacket in your backpack or travel bag. The North Face added stretch side panels to their Men's Scythe Jacket to help optimize your range of motion while skiing or climbing. While the Polartec Thermal Pro Sherpa Fleece fabric won't repel much water, the Scythe Jacket layers and insulates well beneath a waterproof and windproof shell. Unlike some jackets made by The North Face, the Men's Scythe Jacket is not Zip-in compatible, but it remains one of the most versatile and lightweight middle layers available on the market today.

Men's Scythe Jacket
I saw this jacket on sale at Altrec.com and they were way less expensive than anyone else, so I nabed it quick, the jacket is very well made and the sleeve length is long enough to accommodate a long sleeve shirt underneath. You can spend less for a fleece jacket, but Northface has the quality.
It started out with my daughter getting a Northface. Before long every family member that saw her jacket wanted one too. Now my son, daughter in law, grandaughers, and even my 4 month old grandson has a Northface now.
Very warm good for cold sking days under your goretex shell. North face products are the most durable for active wear. I like the pockets on the Scythe jacket.
