Reviews - The North Face Women's Aphelion Triclimate Jacket
Great Ski Jacket
This is a great jacket that can take you from the city to the slopes. I found it to be more snug in fit than most of my other NF purchases. However, I think that the snug fit can actually be more comfortable in this coat. I didn't find it to be too crunchy, which I know has been a problem with the TriClimates in the past. The outer shell has a very feminine cut and worn alone is quite cute. I also traded the inner lining for my size Medium Denali. It worked. So versatile! I was worried after reading some reviews that the Medium Denali would require the size large jacket. I'm 5'8", 140 lbs and found the medium jacket to be fitted. I ordered both the medium and the large and after much debate, kept the medium. I'm looking forward to wearing this this year on the slopes with my long johns and baselayer under the TriClimate... and staying VERY warm and dry! PS I ordered the solid black and find it to be very stylish.
Really cute! It is shorter in real life than it looked in the picture ,but I liked it even better.I am 5'8", small in the shoulders but larger in the chest and size small fit me really well. The color is really a pretty combination together in the cream and brownish beige.
Overall this is a great coat. I ordered a Medium because that's what I had in my other North Face but this one was a lot smaller. I have returned it and am waiting on the larger size.
