The North Face Women's Boundary Triclimate Jacket

Pack a PB&J, or avocado and provolone sammy? Wear your new merino wool base layers or go back to polypro? Luckily you have 2 decisions already made for your day on the mountain tomorrow: set your alarm for 6:30am so you can catch first chair, and wear The North Face Women's Boundary Triclimate Jacket. No matter what the weather brings you'll be ready for blizzard or bluebird in this versatile snowsports jacket. Whether you're skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or just strolling through town, the nylon HyVent fabric is waterproof and breathable for ultimate protection from wind, rain and snow. Inside, the zip-in silken fleece jacket warms your core with luxuriously soft, high-loft fleece. Wear the shell jacket alone if the sun is out and sport the sexy, soft fleece in town for an aprs adventure meal with friends.

The exterior winter jacket has a removable, adjustable hood and lower face protection for long chair rides and blowing snow at the summit. The collar is lined with brushed fabric to eliminate chin-chafe and the cuffs have Velcro tabs that are non-abrasive to comfortably seal out icy wind and snow. While this stylish ski jacket is simple and streamlined to cut out unnecessary, distracting features, TNF did give you pit zips so you can vent some heat when a burst of sun or an uphill traverse gets you warmed up again. In-bounds or out? Depends on the snow. The North Face Boundary Triclimate Jacket for women will keep you stoked to be out on the mountain no matter where you ski.

Great purchase, great price, great product. Very warm and very fuzzy on the inside. Has already held up to quite a few storms like a champ, and I am looking forward to utilizing the other jacket options (i.e. the waterproof shell and fuzzy light jacket) separately. The jacket on the inside (fuzzy one) can stick to longer sweatshirts/sweaters when you put it on, making it feel snug sometimes or causing bunching (I grab the bottom of my shirt sleeves when putting it on to avoid bunching, but there is still some resistance). So if you don't want that, I would size up. I don't mind it though, and the jacket fits true to size for the fit I was looking for.

I finally got to wear this jacket for Fall and Winter this year. I am 5'3" in height. I ordered a Small size and it fits me well. I used the shell as windbreaker and rain jacket and I was well protected. The silken fleece is so warm and toasty. I used it as a standalone jacket when the temperature was between 50-60 F and I didn't want to take it off. :-) I used both the silken fleece and outer shell together during a recent ski trip and, boy, not only the jacket protected me from the element , it also kept me warm and dry. It is the best investment I've made for a jacket that can be used for all season!

Another winner
First off, there are those of us out there who are North face nuts, and I am one. You know what you are getting, and it is always good. I love these tri-climate jackets and the flexibilty they offer. This jacket fit's great, is plenty warm for most cooler temperatures, and looks great. As well, the team at Altrec are great, always very helpful. Step up, buy it!
