Very good and timely purchase
Ski jacket purchase for a lat February ski trip, so it has not gotten a true ski hill test. The jacket fits and looks very good and I anticipate it will serve me well.

Great coat!
I absolutely love this coat! As someone who layers a lot for skiing and always ends up getting hot and opening the vents, I loved the weight of this coat - not too heavy, not too light. Goes with everything! Fits like most North Face products I've purchased before, and it feels very solidly constructed. Win!

great sporty jacket
i bought this to replace an old, bulky, down coat for a skiing trip. it handled the cold and snow and my many falls with ease, and it's also great for just schlepping around the city. i am 5'9" and about 135 lbs, and i usually wear a small, but i got a medium in this jacket so that the sleeves would be a little longer. the medium fits fine, but i probably could have gone with the small. i've found that north face can run a little narrow in the hips, but this jacket is sized with room to breathe. i haven't tried it with just the liner, yet, but that option will be nice when warmer weather arrives. the pockets are just a tiny bit small, in my opinion, but not a deal breaker.
