Light, comfortable wind protection
I bought this as a lighter alternative to my polyester wind pancho, which kept elements out but is too hot for mid-winter weather. For higher altitude running, the jacket + long sleeve tech shirt is ideal for sunny weather into the 20's, but once the sun goes behind a peak, it is not quite warm enough. On the other end, I can wear it into the high 40's with a tech tee underneath. Since most of the winter weather is between these temperatures, it is a great addition to my cold gear.
