These boots are true to the name of Timberland. Right out of the box, you can feel the craftsmanship and durability. The leather is soft yet well made. The heels and soles are very thick and is well made for water proofing and grip. The down side is with any other boot which is that its very rigid. I'm sure with future use it will be better. I love feeling taller than I am thanks to these shoes. Also, the black color fits great for those winter times you wanna wear boots but don't wanna look like a slob. The shoes were a lil bigger than my size so its not exactly TRUE to size, but it is not too far off.
Great all around winter work boots!
I have had these before and needed a new pair. These are really awesome boots, clearly why so many people seem to like them! I love the style, and the durability is top quality. They also last a very long time, soles do not wear down, totally waterproof, bomb-proof, and they just take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. Scuffs can be washed out well with soap and water and a brush. Only critique is that even the Med. fit seems large and wide. With an inner sole and laces pulled tight, regular fit is close.
My favorite "go to" boots
These are hands down my favorite boots. Great comfort, especially during long periods of standing and walking. Nice support, even for slight overpronators like myself. With a good pair of wool socks, you don't have to worry about feet getting cold, at least down to 20-30 degrees. I honestly think they look better as they age, giving a rugged look that goes well with a pair of blue jeans. I use these especially during parade season/Mardi Gras here in New Orleans. You get a slight lift in height which is always nice, helps promote a upright straight standing posture, and like I said earlier, my feet just don't fatigue all that quickly in them after standing all day long! I find the sole wears very slowly even with consistent use. Timberland makes a quality boot and I would try some of their other styles, but there is something about the classic look on these that makes me stick with the same boot. I would say look into spraying them with a good waterproofer, especially if you encounter any snow or rain and plan on wearing them.
