Timberland Men's 6 in. Basic Boots

There's nothing basic about the proven durability and exceptional weather protection available from Timberland's Six Inch Basic Boots for men. This utility boot is incredibly tough and well made. The nubuck leather upper has a seam-sealed construction to keep it fully waterproof through many years of labor in the field and family backyard. The clean, no-nonsense profile integrates seamlessly with work overalls but also easily pairs with casual jeans and fun evenings with friends and family. Beneath the boot is a rugged rubber outsole with pronounced lugs that help channel away excess water. The Men's Timberland Six Inch Basic Boots are ideal for winter conditions in urban and suburban locations. Compared to snow boots, the Six Inch Basic Boot doesn't have extra winter insulation, but this boot easily transitions between icy streets and indoor offices and classrooms without overheating your feet.

  • Upper: rugged full-grain leather
  • Lining: breathable fabric
  • Waterproof seam-sealed construction
  • Rustproof lace hardware
  • Internal steel shank for support
  • Outsole: non-marking rubber lug

My favorite "go to" boots
These are hands down my favorite boots. Great comfort, especially during long periods of standing and walking. Nice support, even for slight overpronators like myself. With a good pair of wool socks, you don't have to worry about feet getting cold, at least down to 20-30 degrees. I honestly think they look better as they age, giving a rugged look that goes well with a pair of blue jeans. I use these especially during parade season/Mardi Gras here in New Orleans. You get a slight lift in height which is always nice, helps promote a upright straight standing posture, and like I said earlier, my feet just don't fatigue all that quickly in them after standing all day long! I find the sole wears very slowly even with consistent use. Timberland makes a quality boot and I would try some of their other styles, but there is something about the classic look on these that makes me stick with the same boot. I would say look into spraying them with a good waterproofer, especially if you encounter any snow or rain and plan on wearing them.

Great Boot, Even Better Customer Service!
Great boot, just a little big. The fantastic thing was the Customer Service! A+. Shipping was very quick, the return process was extremely easy, I would buy again for sure.

Best Purchase Ever
These boots are great, run true to size and feel very comfortable. This is my first pair of Lowas so I do not have much to compare them against. Used them for about a 5 mile hike right out of the box, performance was not bad, the uppers are still stiff but break in will come in time. Only drawback is the cost.
