Timberland Men's Washington Summit Series Mid Waterproof Leather Hiking Boots

Light weight and rugged
Purchased a pair of these boots for general hiking, and liked then so much I bought a second pair in black for street wear. I've been wearing these for about 2 months now and they have become more comfortable with each wearing. The soles have been good over all surfaces and very grippy on rock. Haven't had any trouble with water or any water seepage. Nice leather finish and styling as well. A word of caution when sizing, this boot runs large by about 1/2 size and that still easily allows for a midweight sock. They run large both by lenght an width through the toe section, but when fitted correctly have a good arch support. For me they have a nice secure feel and are light weight and easy to walk in. Like any boot there will be a break in period so don't expect perfect comfort straight out of the box.

Great Look & Feel Combo
I was looking for a modern looking black hiking boot that could fill double duty for hiking and riding my Harley. These are perfect. Aggressive look for bike and durability and waterproof for hiking. Highly recommended. Sizing is normal.

Great boots with great shopping experience
I have been using the Washington Summit boots for only few days, but have already grown in love with it. Trust me, the level of comfort and stability really speaks for itself. I am more into walking around, and really loved the experience so far. However being just over a week, cant commit much on durability etc, but this looks good at the moment. I was also pretty impressed by Altrec's service, as this was the first time I bought something. I would definitely recommend them in future.
