Mindbender
These are probably my third pair of Vasque shoes. I found these much more comfortable in the toe box than my other vasuqe shoes the FS transistor. I like the all mesh design of the mind bender's, and im glad they use the blur outer sole, it offers perfect grip on rocks and dirt on trails. I use my mind benders more for hiking than running. Nice looking shoes and perform perfectly as I expect from Vasque. I wear a size 9 and these fit me very well. Since they are brand new they will need some break in time to loosen up. thank you altrec.com!

Comfortable, Does the Job
I use this shoe for both trail and some road running. It has served me well so far and I would have given it a 5-star rating except for me the fit is not ideal despite my average volume foot. I find it's a bit too roomy in the forefoot (toe area), unlike the Vasque Aether Tech trail running shoes I bought last year. Still, they're plenty comfortable and do the job - just not quite the perfect fit.

Good lightweight shoes, but a bit short lived
This is the second pair of these shoes I've purchased. I like the fit and comfort. They're very light, very flexible. They don't have a real structured feel, I'm sure they don't have a hard plate in the sole like my previous Montrails did. The tongue could use more padding, the laces can be a bit uncomfortable on the top of the foot. My feet are very flat and I often have trouble lacing shoes snugly around them. These can be laced snug with 3/4" more adjustment to spare. I'm disappointed that the outsole is delaminating at the heel already on my first pair. They really haven't had enough use or miles for that to be happening yet.
