AboutJobs.com Network And Wildernet.com Form Strategic Alliance To Share Related Outdoor Recreation Information And Job Listings
ASPEN, CO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 1999--Interactive Outdoors, Inc., owner of Wildernet.com, announced a strategic alliance with the AboutJobs.com Network (AJN).
The arrangement will create a co-branded employment database on the Wildernet.com Web site, which will give Wildernet.com visitors the ability to search for outdoor-related jobs provided by the AboutJobs.com Network. The co-branded job database will draw on jobs from AJN sites Summerjobs.com and Resortjobs.com. In addition, AJN visitors will also be able to search for outdoor recreation information at Wildernet.com.
Wildernet.com provides a comprehensive guide to outdoor recreation in the United States including information about parks, forests, hiking trails, campgrounds, ski areas, and many other outdoor recreation resources and facilities. Wildernet.com began providing Colorado outdoor recreation information on-line in 1997 and began rapidly expanding its offerings for the entire country earlier this year.
