The utility of this simply designed site lies in its "Summit Log," where visitors can record their successes and failures at reaching any among an encyclopedic register of the world's classic and obscure mountain peaks. Mountaineers from all ends of the earth - Tel-Aviv, Israel; Oslo, Norway; and Provo, Utah, all were represented - log in their adventures, explore their dream climbs, and even add a peak if they can come up with one that's not already listed (fat chance). Other features we appreciated were the stunning peak images, the lists of highest peaks by various distinctions - like Colorado's and California's fourteeners and unclimbed 8,000-meter peaks - and the live mountain cams from locales as diverse as the Matterhorn, Shasta, Mauna Kea, and Everest. In fact, the list of peaks is so exhaustive, you might want to take a Diamox just to get through it all."
