General Description

The Land Of Lakes Trail is a very popular trail. The overlook is paved and has interpretive signs to educate the visitor. This gives the visitor an idea of the shape of the Ward Lake Recreation area, and with the help of the interpretive signs, information concerning glacial construction of the lakes and reservoirs. The trail is designated for hiking only.

Directions from Cedaredge: Travel eighteen miles north on Highway 65 to Crag Crest National Recreation Trail parking area. The parking area for Land O'Lakes Trail is located approximately three miles west on Highway 65.
