General Description

This trail is designated for hikers and horseback riders. It is closed yearlong to motorized vehicles except snowmobilers operating on snow. This is a moderate to more difficult trail but is excellent for day use or overnight trips. The Point offers scenery for many miles.

Directions from Grand Junction: Travel Hwy 50 east for 12 miles to Lands End Road. Travel approximetly 9 miles northeast to Kannah Creek gauging station. Kannah Creek and Spring Camp Trail heads begin at this point. The Indian Point trail takes off the Spring Camp Trail approximetly 5 miles up the trail.
