General Description

The trail is being utilized as a four wheel drive road during hunting season. The trail can be used as a loop with the Cabin Trail to extend the mileage to approximately twelve miles. Although, the trail is used by four wheel drive vehicles - no closures are established - attractions, including wildlife and vegetation, are best identified when hiking or horseback riding.

Directions from Whitewater: Take Divide Road, 402, southwest to Uranium Road. Take a right onto Uranium Raod to Big Creek Road, 403. Basin Trail, 603, will be on your left around mile six.
