Alamosa River Road 250
Forest Roads #243, #250, and #380 offer access to the upper Alamosa which includes the Alamosa River above Stunner Campground, Treasure Creek and Prospect Creek. The upper Alamosa flows eastward from its headwaters through open parks, spruce-fir forest, and aspen stands bordered by the walls of the Alamosa Canyon. The area is lightly fished and brook, rainbow, and cutthroat trout are found in equal abundance.

Directions from Forest Roads #243, #250, and #380: Forest Roads #243, #250, and #380 offer access to the upper Alamosa which includes the Alamosa River above Stunner Campground, Treasure Creek and Prospect Creek.

Stunner Campground - Stunner Campground is beside the Alamosa River 2 miles below the top of Stunner Pass. There is public access to fishing in the Alamosa River. Stunner is a ghost town of historic significance.
