General Description

Tucker Ponds Campground is in the Pass Creek drainage just off U.S. Highway 160. Fishing attractions include Tucker Ponds and Pass Creek. The facilities include 16 sites with tables and fireplaces, 2 vault type toilets, trash cans and a developed drinking water system with hand pumps (in season) and turn around and parking space for trailers is provided.

Directions from South Fork, Colorado: Travel 12.0 miles west on U.S. Highway 160 to the Pass Creek Forest Access Road #390. Take the Pass Creek Road # 390 2.5 miles south to the Tucker Ponds Campground.

Seasonal Information:
Normal Services Available: Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend (NOTE: Campground alternates staying open after Labor Day until November 15, for Fall color viewing and big game hunting. Reduced Services. Campground may close earlier due to deep snow.) .

Report: There is now a handicapped accesible trail into Lower Tucker Pond from the parking lot and a handicapped accessible toilet provided. Great place to take anybody , especially anyone with a mobility problem
Conditions: Good road.
Water Availability: The hand pump is still operational
