This 5-acre lake is located 17 miles southwest of Creede on Forest Road 526 at an elevation of 10,000 feet. The use of gasoline powered boat motors is not permitted but electric motors are allowed. It is most suitable for small hand-carried boats, canoes or rafts. One can fish North Clear Creek, below the falls, but it is very steep down into the gorge, with no developed trail. This undeveloped site can accommodate small group camping (family reunions, etc.), but there are no facilities. This is a good general area to come in the fall to observe and take pictures of fall aspen colors.
