From Willow Creek, you can go west down the Beaver Creek Road to South Fork, or east to Crystal Lakes and down the Pinos Creek Road. There is a good chance of seeing deer or elk along this route, especially during the early morning or late afternoon. The first 7 1/2 miles is passable with a high clearance two wheel drive vehicle, but the last 5 1/2 miles should be in a 4 wheel drive.
