When the top is reached, some beautiful views of the surrounding area may be enjoyed. North Rock Creek Trail leaves Rock Creek Road just past the entrance of Rock Creek Campground. A closed road passes through Camp Val Verde. The road turns into a jeep road for about 1/4 mile, then the actual trail begins.
