Follow Colorado Highway 114 west for 27.6 miles, then take a graveled road 1.7 miles southwest into the Buffalo Pass Campground. The campground is near dirt Forest Roads 791 and 792. It is also an area for big game hunting. There are 26 campsites with tables and fireplaces (firewood is limited), vault type toilets and developed drinking water with a spring source.

Directions from Saguache, Colorado: Follow Colorado Highway 114 west for 27.6 miles, then take a graveled road 1.7 miles southwest into the Buffalo Pass Campground.

Seasonal Information:
Normal Services Available: Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend (NOTE: From 10/10 to 11/30 reduced services. No Garbage Collection or fee. Open for hunting season or until snow closes campground access.) . Limited Services: Labor Day Weekend through Early October (NOTE: Fee Charged) .

Report: I camped at Buffalo Pass two summers ago; noisy and busy.
Conditions: No problems; fourth of july weekend,
Water Availability: Had my own; but manual pump was working for drawing your own. Latrines were locked.
