Camp Dick Campground is located about 1 mile from Colorado Highway 72, near Peaceful Valley. The campground sits near Middle St. Varian Creek, at an elevation of 8,650 feet. Attractions in the area include fishing, trails into the wilderness, horse use and rentals, a four-wheel drive road.

The campground offers wheelchair accessible sites and facilities. The maximum spur length is 55 feet.

Directions from Lyons: Travel west on Highway 7 approximately 11 miles, then travel south on Highway 72 approximately 4 miles to Middle St. Vrain Creek. Turn west and travel approximately 1 mile past Peaceful Valley Campground.

Report: Campground is in a beautiful valley with some shaded sites. We camped along side the creek at a tent only site. Very well maintained and decent fishing. Go during the week as it appears to get quite crowded on the weekends.
