General Description

This trail crosses Middle Boulder Creek and climbs to the Diamond Lake Trail. To reach the Devils Thumb Lake Trail, take a left at the Diamond Lake Trail and travel for about .5 mile.

Directions from Eldora: Travel west on CR #130 and northwest on CR #111 to the trailhead. It will be on your left before you reach the 4th of July/Buckingham Park Campground. Hiking alternatives include Diamond Lake Trail from Hessie.

Report: No people. First .75 miles are rise steeply but it levels off. Trail somewhat faint as the terrain levels off. Stay to the north of the creek. At treeline go to the left for Diamond Lake trail.
