The Emmaline Lake Trail is a road for the first two miles. Please stay on the road- do not wander on private land. The trail leads 4 miles further to Emmaline and Cirque Lakes in the Cirque east of Comanche Peak. Portions of both of these trails lead through the Comanche Peak Wilderness.
The Mummy Pass Trail # 937, leaves the Emmaline Lake Trail just past where it crosses Fall Creek. It reaches Rocky Mountain National Park 2 miles from the Emmaline Lake Trail. Interesting loops can be made with other Rocky Mountain National Park trails.
Directions from Fort Collins: Take Hwy 14 west for 35 miles and turn south on the Pingree Park road (County Road 63E). After 15 miles, turn right on the Tom Bennett Campground. Park at the campground or at a small trailhead 1/4 mile further.
