Dowdy Lake Campground
Dowdy Lake is located about 46 miles northwest of Fort Collins in the Red Feather Lakes area. The campground sits adjacent to Dowdy Lake at an elevation of 8,140 feet. Recreation opportunities include boating (motorized boats up to 10 hp permitted, no wake), fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Redfeather Village is within 2 miles.

Facilities:
Dowdy Lake has 62 campsites, 10 of which are walk-in, tent sites. The sites have picnic tables and fire grates. The campground has drinking water, toilets and trash service. There is a boat launch for Dowdy Lake.

Directions from Fort Collins: Travel US Highway 287 north approximately 24 miles to Livermore then travel west on County Road 74E approximately 23 miles. Travel north on Forest Road 218 2 miles to the recreation area.
