Report: This is a fantastic place to camp. Campgrounds well spaced out, sparkling clean vault toilets, good water, helpful pleasant camp hosts. There is electric hookups for $20/campsite, non-electric for $15 campsite and walk-in campsites. Also, there is a separate campsite for equestrians with corrals provided. This is not by water but the little South Poudre River is only 3/4 mile away and the Poudre is 6 miles away. Saw lots of people doing float trips down the Poudre. Saturday night, we were treated with a speaker describing a World War 2 crashsite located approximately 3 miles away from the camp(for serious hikers) where miraculously 6 out of 10 men lived through a horrendous crash, against all odds. Info concerning this is located in the camp. We drove up to Rustic and had an ice cream at the Lodge there and then drove up to Red Feather Lakes. Other than a pretty drive there on gravel roads, Red Feather Lakes is a bust. Must pay fees to fish in any of the lakes, why bother? Also, very crowded there. Came back and fished in the Poudre and lost at least 10 lures--we don't have our gear right yet for streams! Jack's Gulch....go there....
