Flowers Trail #939 runs from the west end of the Flowers four-wheel drive road and leads south west, through the Comanche Peak Wilderness, to Peterson Lake. Formerly used as a wagon trail in the late 1800's this trail ties into numerous other trails (Big South, Brown's Lake and Zimmerman, for example) in the Crown Point-Mummy Range area.
Directions from Fort Collins: Take Hwy 14 west out of Fort Collins to the town site of Egger (approx 30 miles). Turn south at the Pingree Park Road (County Road 63E), and go about 5 miles to the Old Flowers Road, also labeled the Jack's Gulch Road.
