Byers Creek Campground
This small campground is located 7 1/2 miles southwest of Fraser in the Fraser Experimental Forest. It sits adjacent to St. Louis Creek, at an elevation of 9,360 feet. It offers access to fishing and several hiking trails.


There are 6 campsites. Facilities include vault toilets, fire grates, picnic tables and drinking water.

Directions from Granby: Travel southeast on Highway 40 approximately 14 miles to Forest Road 160.2 (County Road 73) in the town of Fraser. Travel west on Forest Road 160.2 approximately 7 miles to the site.

Normal Services Available: Mid-June through Labor Day Weekend (NOTE: Seasons vary depending on snow depth and weather.) .
