St. Kevin road combines Forest Roads 103, 107 & 104 to make a loop of nine miles. Park at the Snowmobile parking area, located on the east side of the Arkansas River, at the North portal entrance to Turquoise Lake. To begin your ride, travel west toward the Turquoise Lake Road. Pass the river and take a right on the dirt road. This is Forest Road 103. Follow this dirt road for five miles to Forest Road 107. Take a left on Forest Road 107 and follow it to the paved Turquoise Lake Road. Turn left on the paved road and follow it back to the North Portal. At this three way intersection take a left, this will bring you back to the parking area. Include a ride to the Mayqueen Campground and return on the Turquoise Lake Trail to make this ride a few miles longer.
Directions from Leadville: From the traffic light on Harrison Avenue drive north to Lake County Road 38 (Mountain View Drive). Make a left on to 38 and drive until you reach a "T" in the road. Turn right at the "T". Follow this road until you reach a large parking area. Turn left here and cross a set of railroad tracks. This road will bring you to Turquoise Lake Road (County Road 9). Follow 9 approximately 3 miles to Bear Lake Road (Forest Road 107). Travel on Bear Lake Road until you reach a fork. Take the right fork this is St. Kevin Road (Fiorest Road 103).
