General Description

Ouzel Campground is located approximately four and one half miles north of the small town of Deckers on Highway 67. This campground consists of thirteen individual campsites. Each campsite includes a fire ring. There is a common parking area for all campsites. Drinking water is not provided. Sanitation has been provided for by two portable toilets. The nearest public telephone is located in the town of Deckers. The nearest fire and emergency services are located in the town of
Trumbull, one mile from Deckers. The South Platte River runs adjacent to the campground and offers Gold Medal fishing.

Directions from Deckers: Ouzel Campground is located approximately four and one half miles north of the small town of Deckers on Highway 67.

Seasonal Information:
Normally Open: Early May through Late Fall (NOTE: Toilet and trash collection services available from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day.) .

Report: All the dogs that was there was not on a leash. Not all of them was nice to our dogs that was on a leash at all times. Dogs were eating off of tables at other campsites. That is my only complaint, dogs should be on leashes at all times.
