General Description

Dry Canyon Fishing Site is located on the northeastern shores of McPhee Reservoir. From Dolores, it is a trip of about 40 miles, most of it on gravel roads. There are restrooms and fishing access here.

Directions from Dolores, Colorado: Travel west on Highway 145 for 2 miles. Go right on Highway 184 for 8 miles. Then go right on U.S. Highway 666 for 13 miles. Turn right on Forest Road 505 for 1 mile, then take a left on FR 521 for 9 miles. Go right on FR 514 for 2 miles, and finally, turn right on FR 510 and go 6 miles.
