The Blanco River Group Picnic Ground has two sites which are adjacent to the Blanco River Campground. There are banquet-size tables along with volleyball net posts and horseshoe pits. They must be reserved through the Pagosa Ranger District office at (970) 264-2268. The Blanco River is stocked with trout but lightly fished, so fishing may be good.
