Report: Great campground. Would be my top pick of the 4 in the area. As the description says, there are a varitey of sites to choose from. Take a right at the entrance and head for the low number sites, 5-6 are right on the creek and looked like great sites (Full when we got there). Otherwise most of the sites are good and the creek is a short walk away. While the description says this place fills on midsummer weekends, I'd have to be skeptical. Over the memorial day weekend, I'd say it was max 1/3 full. Several of the sites looked like they had not been used in years.
Conditions: Again, my top choice of campgrounds in this area. You don't get the views of Teal, but sites offer much better privacy and the forest like setting is nice. There is a mixture of sites, most are treed, with a few on the fringes. **Bring bug spray. Mosquitos were annoying, but didn't bother us once we applied bug spray.
Water Availability: ***Water was not working when we stayed there. Looke like they had put in a new water system that didn't require pumping, but it wasn't working. Upside is fee was 1/2 price. Can't beat it for $5 a night.
