Report: This is a beautiful area, however, when we arrived the campground was full- 5+ other campgrounds in the area were also full. Have several back up plans. We ended up going about 7 miles down Lincoln Creek Road (a 4 wheel drive road) before finding anything.
Conditions: The rain was welcome as it was pretty sunny and hot while we were there (mid July)! The remote campgrounds (although no bathrooms, water, table, etc) are a much better choice!!
Water Availability: We were able to use water from the river without a problem, that was great!

Report: GREAT SITE! Found very few campers there, got into the 30's and cold, but beautiful place. Check out site #3. VERY busy spot in front of site, popular trailhead across the hwy. Stay out of Aspen and enjoy the wilderness around you!
Conditions: No bugs, got real cold at night, campground sees very little sunshine since it is so wooded.
Water Availability: Stream backs to campground and our campsites #3, #4, & #5. Bathroom and water access in center of campground.
