It is possible to follow this trail along the old scenic railroad corridor all the way from the post office in Aspen to Two Rivers Park in Glenwood Springs. The Rio Grande Trail is a paved trail for Hiking, biking and cross-country skiing. This section of trail travels through Snowmass Canyon, over HWY 82 and through The Roaring Fork Club. The trail stays close to the Roaring Fork River for most of the way.
