General Description

Swede Lake offers fishing for Brook Trout and Rainbow Trout.

Directions from Meeker: Swede Lake is accessed by the Oyster Lake Trail #1825 which is located 22 miles east of Meeker. Take State Highway 13 east out of Meeker for 1 mile; turn right on County Road 8 for 20 miles to the Buford-New Castle Road (County Road 17). Turn right, one mile to the Oyster Lake Trail. Limited parking is available. Go 5 1/4 miles on the Oyster Lake Trail to reach Swede Lake.
