General Description

Sable Lake offers Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout fishing.

Directions from Meeker: Sable Lake is along Big Ridge Trail #1829; Big Ridge Trail is located 35 miles east of Meeker. Take State Highway 13 one mile east of Meeker; turn right on County Road 8 for 28 miles; turn right, cross the bridge and turn left on the Marvine Creek Road (County Road 12) for 1 mile to the Big Ridge Trailhead. Sable Lake is located 9 miles via the Big Ridge Trail.
