Report: Small campground in a complex on the Ruedi Reservoir. Ruedi Creek flows through the campground. Bathroom facilities are exceptionally good (not only clean, etc., but with hot and cold running water as well). But be aware that the nightly fee has risen to $15.00.
Conditions: It rained quite a bit while we were there, but since we were off fishing, we didn't really care. There aren't many trees and the sites seem to be pretty rocky and well populated with ants. But we had a great time and would go again. (Note: the small store referred to below - 8 miles east in the town of Meredith - is currently closed. They may be remodelling, or they may have given up altogether. If you need supplies, go back into Basalt; if all you need is a pay phone, the store in Meredith is fine.)
Water Availability: There was plenty of water for drinking and cooking.
