General Description

The trailhead marks the beginning of the trail to Nast Lake, a popular site for fishermen. Facilities are available at the trailhead.

Directions from Basalt: Travel 31 miles east, up the Frying Pan River Rd (FDR 105), to the Frying Pan River Ranch turn off and go one mile to the lake.

Seasonal Information:
Normally Accessible: Year-round (NOTE: No water, trash. This is a dispersed lake area that has a vault toilet and trailhead. This will remain a non fee site.) .
