General Description

The Spring Creek area is located between Silverthorne and Kremmling. Parking is limited. Please allow room for vehicles. Grand County Road and Bridge Maintenance has agreed to level a parking area and plow so several motor homes and trailers can park and turn around. Please respect private property and stay on the road until reaching the sign designating public lands.

In August and September of 1984, Mile-Hi Snowmobile Club of Denver marked about 27 miles on National Forest Land. The Spring Creek area offers miles of snow covered roads, through beautiful spruce and firs. Open meadows allow a chance to admire some great scenery. Spring Creek is one of the least use snowmobile areas on the district, but yet offers some of the finest terrain.
