General Description

TRAIL BEGINS: On Cliff Creek Trail #137 about 2 miles south of the Cliff Creek trailhead.

TRAIL ENDS: On Kilgore Creek Road #30710, just west of its junction with the Hoback River Road #30700.

ATTRACTIONS: Beginning on Cliff Creek, this pleasant trail travels thru wooded and open country in which patches of wild strawberries can be found in season. It also goes thru the middle of an established outfitter cap with a spring. there is an abundance of good wildlife habitat and a spectacular view of the Wind River Range at the trail's high point.

Directions from US Hwy. 191-189, Hoback Canyon: About 4 miles northwest of Hoback Guard Station, turn south on Forest Road #30500 (Cliff Creek Road) and go to the junction of Cliff Creek and Sandy Marshall Creek. From the Cliff Creek trailhead, follow the Cliff Creek Trail #137 south about 2 miles to the sign for Bondurant Creek. The Bondurant Creek Trail crosses the creek going south.The trail can also be accessed on Kilgore Creek road, off of the Upper Hoback River Road.

Highline Trail - This trail leads from Bondurant Creek to the Upper Hoback Trail #131. The Highline offers some of the most scenic views on the district.

Monument Ridge Trail - This trail leads past the Monument Ridge Lookout and offers good views. Portions are open for motorized travel.
