General Description

TRAIL BEGINS: .25 miles up Red Creek road from Hwy. 89

TRAIL ENDS: Intersection with Divide Trail

ATTRACTIONS: This trail has access to high ridges of Snake River Range and drainages beyond. It can be used to connect to the Divide Trail #3050 or the Cottonwood Creek Trail #3057. These trails and connections may overgrown and hard to locate. There are spectacular views of surrounding areas from the ridgecrest and the summit of Red Peak at 9771 feet.

Directions from Jackson: Follow Hwy. 89 south approx. 21 miles to Red Creek. Follow well used but rough jeep trail .25 miles to end of road and trailhead. Parking available along road. Trail goes west and south for first .25 miles before turning up ridge between Red Creek and Little Red Creek,
