General Description

Big Sandy Trailhead is located about 60 miles southeast of Pinedale on the Big Sandy River. Several trails lead into the Bridger Wilderness. There is a public corral at the trailhead.

Directions from Pinedale: Follow Hwy. 191 south to Hwy. 353. Follow east to Big Sandy Road and follow signs to the trailhead which is a total of 60 miles from Pinedale.

Seasonal Information:
Normally Accessible: Early June through Late October .
