General Description

Jarbidge Canyon is the most popular family camping area on the Jarbidge Ranger District. Two developed and several undeveloped campsites are located near the town of Jarbidge.

Pine Creek is one of the two developed campground and offers seven camping units with full-service (water, restrooms, tables and fire pits). The site is two-half mile south of Jarbidge. Visitors to the area will have access to fish in the Jarbidge river.

Popular areas for dispersed camping in the area are, Jarbidge Wilderness, Canyon Creek, Pole Creek Area, Mary's River and Sun Creek .

Activities and Facilities: Camping, fishing, vault toilets, tables and fire pits. The town of Jarbidge is a few miles away, groceries can be purchased here.

Directions from Jarbidge: Travel two and a half miles south.

Seasonal Information:
Normally Open: June through October .
