The California Department of Fish and Game plant rainbow trout every other week, May through September, in Union Valley Reservoir. Brown trout, kokanee salmon, and smallmouth bass are also caught. The lake is accessible year-round, however, ice fishing is not recommended due to fluctuating water levels.

Report: Fashoda is a great place to camp if you're in a big group. It's not as loud as Folsom Lake, but it is set up for the party type. Great beach!
Conditions: Campsites are all pretty shaded.
Water Availability: The lake is on Union Valley Reservoir and is easily accessible from the campsites.
