General Description

Sitting at an elevation of 5,300 feet, Angel Creek Picnic Ground can be located on the east shore of Gerle Creek Divide Reservoir, 1 mile before the Gerle Creek Campground. In addition to offering picnicking facilities, the site provides close access for fishing, boating and swimming. However, it should be noted that no motor boating is allowed on the lake.

Brown, rainbow, and brook trout can be found in Gerle Creek. Fishing is enjoyed east of Highway 49 from the last Saturday in April to November 15th.

On site facilities: 8 picnic units, drinking water, grills and wheelchair accessible vault toilets.

Directions from Crystal Basin: Take California state Highway 3 north. At the junction transfer onto California state Highway 33 and continue north until Gerle Creek Divide Reservoir. The picnic ground sits on the east side of the reservoir.

Report: Last summer my family and I went on an adventure of a lifetime camping trip up on ice house road.We stayed at Loon Lake but during the day we went to other lakes and ended up eating lunch or dinner at this great resort called Robbs.
Conditions: We went during July when they were open,which is memorial day though halloween,and had a great time playing in the sun.
Water Availability: The campground we stayed at didnt have a water sorce but it had a lake and that was no problem for us because Robbs had some.
