General Description

Located 24 miles north of the town of Orleans, Dillon Creek Campground, which is situated in the densely wooded Siskiyou Mountains, is a peaceful getaway spot. Dillon Creek is host to a cascading natural spring, a wonderful natural swimming hole, and nearby "Oogaromtok" (Frog Pond).
The campsites, which are carved into the mountain slopes, are sheltered,
shaded, and private. Bear-proof trash cans provide for safe trash disposal. Hikes in the surrounding area offer possible encounters with wildlife such as elk, deer, jays, woodpeckers, and osprey. The adjacent Klamath River provides seasonal fishing.

Dillon Creek is normally open from May through October, during which time drinking water and regular trash removal are provided.

Directions from Orleans: Travel north on State Hwy. 96 for 24 miles to the campground.
